Spongination10.03.10 um 23:59 Okay... So I've uploaded my Mika pic with the epicly failing shading on the hair, and one without shading. All I need now is comments on how to improve! Please take a look ^^
Chantelle07.03.10 um 18:38 I spent an hour on a really nice drawing but it wont be accepted by this website Does anyone know how to change its format? :O
Chantelle07.03.10 um 15:55 Thanks everyone, I looked it up on google and found a really good one called Paint.NET Its really easy to use and is nearly identicle to both GIMP and Photoshop. Try it out :3
Spongination07.03.10 um 00:27 It's quite short, yeah. I've posted a picture of him in the tutorials section of the forum.
Rhyshian06.03.10 um 00:24 Hmm... curly hair? I have trouble with it too. There's this one character that I was supposed to draw for my friend, and he has curly hair.. but I couldn't make him look like a guy, lol.
Hm, how long is his hair? Is it short?
Spongination05.03.10 um 22:03 I've drawn a basic outline, but the shading and colouring is a big problem.
Spongination05.03.10 um 22:02 Yeah, I've searched on DeviantART, but the only curly hair things are for ringlets, and none of the tutorials really help. I need to be able to draw it on Mika without making him look like a woman.
Papaya05.03.10 um 14:47 @spongination do you search for tutorials on deviantart.com? maybe there won't be a tutorial for curly hair, but i think a general hair tutorial will also help^^
btw, Paint tool SAI is a great software for cheap money, maybe u google it :>
Spongination03.03.10 um 22:03 I now use GIMP, I got it a couple of weeks ago and I LOVE it. I used to use OpenCanvas 1.1, but it's not as advanced or as easy to use
Nazuna03.03.10 um 12:24 I use gimp, it's quite good and you can use layers. There's more information if you search it in google.
Chantelle02.03.10 um 22:13 Do u know any free draing programs that use layers like photoshop? thanxx
